USEFUL INFORMATION / INFORMATION

How’s the air ticket price formed?

The ticket price consists of few components: airline fare, airport and fuel taxes, security tax and usually service tax. Therefore You have to specify the total price of the ticket at time of booking because due to advertisement considerations the company may inform only the fare or the fare with the part of taxes.

Total ticket price depends on chosen travel dates, service class, time and duration of stay in the country of destination, stops on the route, seats availability and currency exchange rate.

How to buy the ticket at optimal price?

To get the optimal ticket price You should remember the following:

The earlier you book a flight and buy a ticket the cheaper is the fare (from 3 to 90 days to departure).

It’s desirable that dates of stay in the country of destination included Saturday night.

The shorter is Your stay at the country of destination the cheaper is the ticket.

The open-date tickets are always more expensive than the tickets with fixed travel dates.

If You buy the round-trip tickets You’ll save from 30% up to 50% of the price.

Tickets of the lowest fare are sold in a limited quantity and have one inconvenient feature – You’ll get material losses on refund and making changes.

There’s one more way to have the optimal price – it’s using the low-cost airlines services.

What means «non-booking fare»?

The most of the cheapest fares provide the purchasing of the ticket at the day of booking or within 24 hours after the booking. Therefore always try to consult with our operators when You’re booking a ticket at such fares.

Service classes aboard (at air tickets)

Class of booking is a letter-sign of seats-quote on a flight that correspond to different fares. Air ticket class assigns the service You get during the flight. If the regular dinner that is included into ticket price is offered to all of the passengers independently on service class then free alcoholic drinks would be offered only to first-class and business-class passengers.

How to change the departure flight date?

There are some restrictions on date change possibilities for the tickets in the most of discount fares. If the fare rules allow making changes than You can do it either the travel agency offices that issued You a ticket or at the airlines office.

Cases when You can get full refund of the ticket price?

The full refund of the air ticket price can be got in case that it’s permitted by the fare or if the passenger couldn’t use the ticket because of the travel agent’s or airline’s actions.

During what time period the ticket refund can be made?

There are time limits for the ticket refund for the most of discount fares. Obviously, it’s better for You to find out such information before purchasing the ticket. It’s useful to remember that You must cancel Your booking 24 hours prior to departure. Usually after the departure (in case of no-show) the discount tickets are non-refundable.

All the taxes are published in local currency and few currency exchange rates are frequently used to convert them into the local currency that’s why the total taxes amount changes daily. Some taxes are counted as some percent of the fare so the can’t be predicted. These all leads to the fact that total tax amount can be evaluated only at the time of issuance of the ticket (You had probably met the commercial phrase: “airport and other taxes are not included).

Reissuingoftheticket

In case of changing the departure date of the ticket may appear the situation when there’s no seats of the same fare on the new date. In this case the ticket can be reissued by the fare that has available seats but the difference between the fares will be charged.

Some fares don’t allow the ticket refund but the fare amount can be partly credited for another ticket usually for more expensive fare. In this case the original ticket corresponds the equivalent of some amount (it’s always non-refundable) that can be used for purchasing the new ticket. You have to ask at Your agency if such operation is possible.
